Blueberries are my jam. When they are in season, which is now, I stock up at my local grocery store. I make all the blueberry things – jams, muffins, and even popsicles. I need to get my kids to eat more fruit and veggies – ice pops help. A lot. I’m a busy mom so I’m always looking for easy, quick recipes. If you are like me you’ll love the 3 Ingredients Blueberry Yogurt pops – throw everything in the blender and voila! You will love them and so will your kids!

Oh yeah, Summer is coming very, very soon and these will be a refreshing treat on those hot sunny days! The fruits are already sweet on their own so I don’t add anything additional but you can add honey or vanilla extract to make it sweeter. Secretly adding veggies works too, I “may” have done it a few times to my kids.

  2. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds and allow to freeze for 5-6 hours or overnight.

Do you see how easy that was? You can make the popsicles with plain Greek yogurt if you prefer, to sweeten just add about 1/4 cup honey! The blueberries were sweet enough that I didn’t have to add any sweetener. Seriously, it is the best! The kids will pick out their favorite fruit when we go to the supermarket so I can make some smoothie pops for them. Sometimes we get creative and add multiple fruits for a tropical popsicle.

Buying fruits when they are in season, gives you the freshest and ripest fruit. I get my Fresh from Florida produce at Publix. They always have great sales and promotions on vegetables and fruits. Right now, you can get bell peppers, sweet corn, blueberries, and watermelon in season at Publix.

  1. Felicita,
When I saw those yogurt pops, I thought to myself, “That has got to have a lot of carbs in it. No way could I eat those.” But I can. They look so good. I think I can keep them as a healthy treat, you know when you scrounging through your kitchen looking for something to eat and try to avoid the stuff that is crummy for you. I look forward to trying them. Thank you for sharing this idea.

  2. Oh my yum!

Having six kids in the house (plus friends) I know this will make me the most popular mom on the block! Especially her in Germany – and the other moms will like me, too because it’s a homemade and healthy snack.

I call this recipe a WIN WIN WIN for everyone!
