The NEW LEGOLAND Beach Retreat is open! The new resort is just minutes away from LEGOLAND Florida Resort. Families now have a new way to stay and play!
LEGOLAND Florida is one of my kid’s favorite theme parks. We were thrilled when we were invited to a sneak peek of the new Beach Retreat. It was everything I enjoyed a Beach Retreat would be. The cozy bungalows, the gorgeous views, the amazing pool with LEGOs (of course), and the scrumptious food.
Why should you stay at LEGOLAND Beach Retreat? I’ll give you 5!

Quick Check-in
Just imagine driving to your destination without having to get out of your car for check-in. No bulky luggage to carry while you search for your check-in papers, no worries about chasing your kids in the lobby, and no long waiting! LEGOLAND has made our lives so much easier with drive-through check-in! I was greeted by a smiling face when I drove through the check-in window. It was the easiest, stress-less check-in ever.
Accommodations
Beach Retreat is set-up in a village style, where all the bungalows are in a circular pattern with a playground in the middle. Each section is named differently. You’ll immediately notice the bright colored bungalows with a LEGO-like exterior. They really pay attention to details because it looks like a little LEGO house. The kids loved it without even seeing the inside.
Now the inside is amazing! It has a beachy feel with huge decals of beaches, surfboards, and more. Families will love the separate kid’s area with bunk beds and a trundle. There is a curtain that can be closed for privacy. The kid’s area has a box of LEGO’s for the kids to play with. The rooms have plenty of storage with two closets. The bathroom is very spacious! The rooms can accommodate up to 5 people per room. I had 5 people in my room and it was plenty of space for all of us. The room comes with the standard hotel amenities – mini fridge, safe, coffee machine (Keurig), and toiletries.
Outdoor Activities
The first outdoor activity area is the playground in the middle of the courtyard style area in front of the bungalows. The bungalows have an outside area where parents can enjoy drinks and food while watching the kids play. Your children will definitely love the pool area. There is a big pool with plenty of LEGO blocks floating around. The area also has a sand area where the kids can play “beach” volleyball or other activities. The kids can also play in the bigger playground towards the back of the pool area. Kids will have so many things to do! Parents can enjoy a cocktail or two while watching the kids.
Food and Drinks
The food was amazing! I love that they have choices for both kids and adults. My kids are super picky so I was happy to see items that they will eat. They had delicious Caribbean food. The food is buffet style so you can go back for seconds or thirds. No judgment! They have a wide variety of drink options and of course, the milk station!
Now for the adults, we have an amazing bar area (Bricks Beach Bar) with creative fruity drinks. My favorite was “Fish in a Bag” – a delicious combination of Malibu, Sprite, Orange Vodka, an orange peel, and mint. It was a refreshing tropical drink that was perfect for the warm weather. By the way, while you are enjoying a drink – kids can entertain themselves in the huge LEGO sandcastle that is right in front of the bar area. There are plenty of LEGOs for everyone.
Early Park Access
Did ou know you get early park access when you stay in the LEGOLAND Beach Retreat? Enjoy 30 minutes of early access when you stay. Get a head start on all the fun LEGOLAND Resort has to offer. Good time to check out the new LEGO Ninjago area!
We will definitely return to LEGOLAND Beach Retreat! It was the perfect combination of fun and play. A place where kids and adults can both have a wonderful time.
