Orlando is known as the big attraction destination in Florida but there is so much more than the big theme parks. There are activities for all budgets. Crayola Experience in Orlando is full of colorful fun and it won’t break the bank! If you want to make your own Crayola crayon label, climb in the playground, create whatever you want with modeling clay or just paint – Crayola Experience is the place for you. Here are 5 reasons to visit Crayola Experience Orlando:
5 Reasons to Visit Crayola Experience Orlando
1. Make your own Crayola Crayon Wrap
Ever dream of having your own personalized crayon? It is possible now, thanks to Crayola Experience! You are able to select the color crayon you want (there are a variety of colors to choose from) and personalize it to say whatever you want. Maybe, “super mom Felicita” or “Princess Ciara” – whatever your little heart desires. The label gets printed then you take it to the wrapping machine to get the sticker on perfectly. It really is pretty cool! I got one that says my blog name! The possibilities are endless.
2. Play area for toddler and bigger kids
I love that they have two separate play areas for toddlers and kids. Kids will have a ton of fun climbing, sliding, rolling, and bouncing all over the place. Trust me, you’ll have some tired little kids when they are done here. We left the play area for last because I knew they would be tired after they were done climbing and sliding. The area has seats for parents to relax and watch their kids. The concession area is right in front of the playground if you want to munch on some snacks while the kids play!
3. Interactive activities
Crayola Experience has many different areas that have some kind of interaction. The kids loved the Art Alive section. Kids are able to draw or color a design and it magically appears on the big screen. You can color different coloring pages or design something else. The kids had a kick out of seeing their designs on the big screen floating around. The Color Magic was another area the kids loved! You color a coloring page then kids place it in the designated area where the page comes to life on a computer screen. The creature/animal/person moves around on your command by using your fingers. They were amazed to see their image move around.
4. Make your own Crayon with Melt & Mold
Just imagine melting crayons and turning them into different crayon objects like a shark, ring, seahorse, or even a car. Kids can draw with their new creation. Kids are able to see the entire process from start to finish which is a pretty cool experience. There is another activity where kids are able to melt crayons and make different color designs.
5. Crayola Store
Crayola everything! My daughter is a little artist so she was in heaven. We found glitter watercolor paint! She was so excited to see it. Because glitter = awesome. They have everything Crayola – things that I haven’t seen in stores. Think big Crayola Crayon stuffed toys! The kids loved the big giant crayons.
I’ve only touched on some of the activities at Crayola Experience, there is so so much more to do. The kids enjoyed watching the Rockin Paper area also. Kids color a fairy or bird then watch it come to life right on stage! Crayola Experience also has an area where kids can just color, paint, or draw with melted crayons. There are little activities kids can do in designated areas. The modeling clay area was fun for the kids too. You get coins in your little bag which can be used to create crayons or “buy” modeling clay. We definitely will come back and visit when we are in Orlando! By the way, you can make it an all day event by staying at the Florida Mall to shop once you are doing creating!
