The life of a woman can be complex if you work or stay at home. We have many roles that we must fulfill in order to get things done in our daily lives. Sometimes we need that “boost” and I rely on 5-hour ENERGY® shots #ThisIsMySecret to get me through the day. It is packed with B-vitamins and amino acids, but none of that sugar or herbal stimulants with only 4 calories! Follow me as I share a typical day in the life of a working mom and blogger.

Wake up at 6:15 to get ready for work

Brush my teeth, shower, get dressed, do makeup, grab any breakfast snacks, and my lunch. By this point I’m rushing all over the house grabbing everything I need for the day. If I woke up feeling tired I would take half a 5-hour ENERGY® shot to get me through the morning. I like to keep it in my purse just in case I need it later.

Driving to work in Miami takes me an average of an hour depending on traffic. Now that school is out the commute is manageable, when school is in session it is a whole different story! I listen to the radio or one of my loved podcasts.

8:00 – 12:00 am

By this time I am sitting at my desk ready to start my workday. After I check and answer emails I usually get a cup of coffee (if I took a 5-hour ENERGY® shot before I left home then I will not have coffee). Depends how I am feeling that day. I take breaks usually to chit chat with my co-workers.

12:00 – 1:00 pm

If I didn’t pack my lunch, I usually venture out in the horrible Miami traffic. The local traffic in Doral is pretty bad. Tons of trucks! We are near the airport which adds to the congestion. I try to avoid going out when I can, by bring lunch but if I absolutely have to go out I try to take the side streets. Depending on what errands I need to run I may take my lunch break as the time to pick up things that I can’t do after work because I need to get the kids from summer camp. I try to lessen my “to-do” list at this time if I can.

4:30 pm

Time to go home! The traffic in the evening is much slower but on good days I can make it to my neighborhood by 5:15pm. I coordinate with my husband regarding the kids. If he gets out of work early he’ll get our son from summer camp while I pick up our daughter from daycare. Sometimes I may need to pick them both up if he has class that evening.

5:30 pm

At home trying to figure out what to make for dinner. We decide to keep it simple with chicken on the grill, yellow rice, and black beans. While I let the food cook, I change from my work clothes into workout gear. My neighbors are ready to go on our daily jog. I tell my hubby to watch the food while I head out to exercise. Trust me, if it wasn’t for them pushing me to exercise I would not do it! After a long day at the office and commuting for an hour the last thing I want to do is exercise! I rely on 5-hour ENERGY® shots to give me the boost I need to keep going! I drink half a bottle of the energy shot for a much-needed boost.

6:30 pm

After returning from my run, feeling energized and alert – I check on dinner. The food is done so I get the kids ready at the table and serve them their food. Dinner time is important to my family so we take the time to ask how each other’s day was. I ask my son what he did in summer camp that day, etc.

7:15 pm

Time for baths, pj’s, and reading! My husband usually cleans up the kitchen or packs our lunch for work the next day. Teamwork!

8:00 pm

Time to start my second job – blogging! I check my calendar for anything that is pending and get to work on my next post. My night will consist of editing pictures, answering emails, sharing post on social media, and writing posts.

12:00 – 1:00 am

Bed time!

My days are hectic but 5-hour ENERGY® shots helps me stay focus and alert to accomplish my day to day tasks. Being a working mom and blogger means my days are filled with constant motion – from taking pictures of products to entertaining the kids. I rely on 5-hour ENERGY® shots to give me the extra boost I need.
