Summer vacation is over for the kids here in Florida. A new school year has started and because of that many parents have gone clothes shopping. If you are anything like me I like to shop sales and go to clothing store that can get me the best deals. I also like to pay attention to the quality of the clothes my kids wear. I have an active little boy that needs clothes that will last. Kohl’s has always been a store I can rely on to have affordable clothing for my family, with brands that I trust. Using store sales and Kohl’s cash, I was able to get my son two pairs of pants, 1 pair of basket ball shorts, 3 shirts, and 3 sets of pj’s all under $100!

My son loves being outside playing baseball, basketball, or just jumping around in the backyard so it is no surprise he requested basketball shorts and a tank. Kohl’s carries famous brands such as Nike. He loved the material of the outfit he picked because it felt “smooth” (his exact words) against his skin. The material is light which is perfect for the hot Florida weather. My sons favorite pair of basketball shorts are Nike brand so when he saw the famous Nike check on a pair of shorts, he grabbed them. Since, he goes to baseball practice a few times a week having plenty of active clothing is a must!
When we’re out and a about on the weekends, I like him to wear comfortable clothing. While shopping with my son I told him he could pick a t-shirt and some jeans. He picked a medium wash relaxed fit jean from Sonoma Life + Style and a LEGO minifigure zombie shirt. The jeans have the adjustable waist which is a must for my son as he is on the smaller side. He said that he did feel relaxed when wearing them (I had to explain to him that even though they are “relaxed” fit it doesn’t mean it makes him relaxed, he insisted it did – Kids!). They were a good length for him to grow into this year. They washed well and still feel comfortable for him. My son loves anything LEGOs so it was no surprise he picked the zombie tee.
We also picked up some navy blue cargo pants for school as he can only wear Navy or beige pants for school. They also had the elastic adjustable waist which I loved! He said the pants fit comfortable and liked having all the pockets. We also picked up some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle pajamas that he’s been wanting. He loves them!
