It is baseball season! It is actually baseball season for me all year around here in Florida. My son has been playing baseball since he was 3 years old! He is almost 10 years old now. I love going to the games to cheer him on. Living that #BaseballMomLife and loving it! Now that my son is older, travel baseball will take up the majority of our summer. Traveling to different cities on weekends and even some weekdays is definitely going to make our Summer busy. I’ll be wearing all the baseball things to support him including these adorable DIY Baseball Stitch Flip Flops. I did all the design work for you all you need is some white flip flops, a cutting machine, and red glitter heat transfer vinyl.

Let’s get started!

Supplies needed for Baseball Stitch Flip Flops

Directions:

Download the Free baseball stitch file to your computer. Open Silhouette Studio or Design Center and import the baseball stitch file. Change the size of the stitches to fit your flip-flops. It may be a little tricky to get the exact size since the flip-flop handles are curved but make it slightly longer than what you measured. You can also cut off whatever you don’t need.

Arrange the file on your mat and mirror (flip horizontally) since we are using heat transfer vinyl (HTV). Select the material you are cutting (heat transfer – glitter).

Carefully weed the design. Place it on your flip-flops (be sure to align it and cut any excess) and carefully iron it using the Clover Mini iron. All done!

The easiest craft ever, right? I’ve made a few of these for my baseball mom friends. They make great gifts for the Baseball Mom of the team or for baseball lovers!

Can you imagine the possibilities with other flip-flops? Adding heat transfer vinyl to other flip flops to easily personalize them. This can also work for softball! Maybe get brown flip-flops and add the football style to them. You can even add your initials instead. My daughter wants glitter flowers on a pair of flip-flops that I bought her so that’s my next project!
