If you have thick, curly unruly hair you will probably relate to this post. Being a Latina with thick curly hair has its challenges as you can imagine. Hours spent blow drying and flat ironing my hair is time consuming. Working full time, blogging after hours and being a mom means the little time I have to my self is very minimal so I definitely do not want to spend my free time drying my hair for two hours. I know what you’re are thinking, “what crazy hair!” Yes, my hair is dry, thick, and long. To achieve this slick straight look I used the Stephan Imágen shampoo and conditioner (repeated steps twice). I left the conditioner on a little longer than usual just so my hair can soak up the nutrients better. Once I detangled my hair I applied the Anti-Frizz serum all over my hair (a did a few pumps as my hair is long). I passed a comb one last time and allowed my hair to air dry. I know some people would blow dry after this but since I don’t have time to blow-dry my hair piece by piece I just allow it to air dry then divide my hair and take little pieces of hair and flat iron straight. I’ve found that doing it this way allows my hair to be straighten faster. I wash my hair early morning and by mid-afternoon my hair is dry and ready to be flat ironed. I do use a heat protectant spray on every single piece of my hair. The QT Performance goes up to 450 degrees so I definitely want to make sure my hair is protected. After my hair is completely straighten I apply the High Gloss mist on my hair. I spray it on my hands and rub them together then pass it over my hair.
