The New Year is here. A fresh start. Every year I tell myself that I’m going to stick to a plan and do things better. I have a problem with saying things and not following through. This year I’m changing all that! I bought a planner and created Free Printable Motivational Planner Stickers for it. I’m going to show you how to make your own using the Silhouette Cameo.
I picked a Word of the Year which is Positive. Positive thinking.
I created a Vision board for the first time this year too! Do you guys do vision boards? I keep it right in front of my desk so I have a constant reminder every single day. My goals.
To help with my positive thinking, I created these Free Printable Motivational Planner Stickers using my Silhouette Cameo. I used the print and cut feature. These inspirational planner stickers fit perfectly on The Happy Planner monthly section. Great way to keep you motivated while you plan your tasks and goals for the month.

How to Create Your Own Motivational Planner Stickers
Supplies:
- Silhouette Cameo
- Sticker paper
- Printer
- Background graphics (try Etsy or Creative Market)
- Inspiring quotes
Measure the size of your planner boxes. If you are using The Happy Planner (like I have) the monthly boxes are 1.5 x 1.5 inches.
Open the Silhouette Cameo Studio program, turn the Registration Marks on so you know what area you have to create your stickers. Plus you need this to use the Print and Cut feature.
Create your boxes 1.6 x 1.6 inches in size. We are making them bigger for a reason. We want our background image to overlap a little so when we cut the stickers it is filled with the background design. Do as many squares that can fit on a page.
Add your image into Silhouette Studio and size the image so it fits in each square. You can find images on Etsy.com and CreativeMarket.com
Repeat for all your squares.
Now add text to each square. Add your favorite quotes and inspirational messages. Align it in the middle as we will be adding another box inside the 1.6 x 1.6 inch box we created.
Add a 1.5 x 1.5 inch box inside the 1.6 x 1.6 inch box. Now make the lines a different color, like blue. We want to differentiate the 2 different boxes as we will be telling the Silhouette to print the “blue” boxes. You will repeat these steps for every box you have.
Now that your planner stickers are all set up, place your sticker paper into your printer feed. Be sure that is it facing the correct side. Send it to print on your Silhouette Studio.
Once it prints, place the printed sticker sheet on your Silhouette mat. Press the registration mark button so the Silhouette Cameo can read it. Adjust the cut settings to sticker paper. Send it to cut.
You should have perfect planner stickers! Save your template so you can re-use and do more!
