The Summer should be filled with fun activities – not worrying about being stuck in a hot kitchen. After a long day at work, I look forward to finding an effortless meal that can be done on the grill. My family loves pizza so we often grill the pizza outside in our grill. We grab a refrigerated Marketside pizza from Walmart since they have so many different choices and sizes. Who wants to be stuck in the kitchen when its a beautiful day outside? Plus, I get to spend more time with my loved ones!
I grabbed an extra large cheese pizza because we love to set up a pizza bar with different toppings. Everyone in my family can personalize the pizza just the way they want! Black olives, pineapple, green/red bell peppers, and bacon are our favorite toppings. Walmart Marketside pizza also have meat lovers, supreme, pepperoni, and even stuffed-crust! The pizzas go perfect with a nice cold Coca Cola!
How to grill a refrigerated pizza
Ingredients:
- Walmart Marketside pizza
- Grill (I have a gas grill)
1. Preheat grill to 400 degrees on high
2. Once preheated, place pizza directly on grill rack and lower the flames (low setting)
3. Cover the grill to allow pizza to cook through
4. Allow it to cook for about 12-15 minutes, once the cheese is melted – remove from heat.
See how easy that is? Yup, and all the mess is left outside! No warm kitchen to worry about. We get to enjoy dinner outside while enjoying some family game night. We look forward to family game night every week. Since I work full time we try to do it on evenings when we have quick, easy dinners like grilled pizza!
