The length was perfect for my little almost-two-year-old daughter. I loved that it was adjustable so she will be able to use it for many, many years. The chain and pendant is dainty but you can feel the durability. My daughter tugged on her necklace but it did not budge. It is crafted of 18k gold overlay with a highly polished finish.
