Do you enjoy the thrills of watching cars getting crushed by big Monster Trucks? Monster Jam is just the show you want to watch. Loud noise, roaring engines, crushing cars, jumps/leaps, and hardcore competition!
The first half of the show is head to head match ups with all the Monster Trucks. Some of the Monster trucks that were part of the show was Captain America, Gunslinger, Grave Digger (my sons favorite!), Ice Cream Man (another favorite), Grave Digger the Legend, and Wolverine. The quad drivers were also part of the show – USA versus Cuba. After three rounds the USA took the win!
Our favorite part was the freestyle competition. The kids loved seeing the monster trucks climbing all over the cars and they even had an RV. One of the trucks actually got stuck while driving through the RV. We also saw two cars topple over! You can definitely feel the adrenaline and joy in the crowd. Everyone was cheering on their favorite Monster truck. Mohawk Warrior was one of my favorite trucks – It looked so cool!
We enjoyed watching El Toro Loco and El Diablo. They made appearances throughout the competition but they also competed in the freestyle portion. El Toro Loco won the freestyle competition round. Captain America and Mohawk Warrior came in a close second.
Overall, it was a great time with the family. We knew from prior visits to bring the kids earplugs – it is very, very loud. If going with younger kids I would definitely recommend bring or buying ear protection for them. Can’t wait until next year!
