Week 3 was a difficult one for me. I didn’t lose or gain weight this week but I did lose inches – not sure how that makes sense. I think my issue last week was that I’m not going to the bathroom regularly (sorry, I hope that is not too TMI). It really has my body in a weird funk. I started adding more fiber into my diet to help me stay regular. Not losing really made me feel discouraged but I know my body is still getting used to the food. I’m hoping this week I can keep adding fiber, increase my water intake, and continue to exercise.

Week three was the first time I also went out to eat since starting the Nutrisystem. It was scary as I didn’t want to mess up my diet. We ended up going to a local restaurant and I got a Mahi Mahi salad. It was delicious! I didn’t feel bad eating my salad. It felt good to make a smart decision when there were so many temptations! I ordered my water with lemon and was happy with my date night. My husband has been so supportive and has been working on losing weight too. Since I’m not snacking at night he’s been losing some pounds himself!

I didn’t get to workout as much as I wanted to but did get some jogging in with my neighbors. We jog/walk for about 30-45 mins during the week. I hope to increase that to every night this week! If I can’t go – I want to at least put on a work out video to supplement.

My favorite dessert this week was the Red Velvet Whoopie Pie! It was the perfect little treat! It is so good! I can’t wait to have it again.
