Another week has passed and I’m really starting to get used to the diet. The food is growing on me. I like to have everything prepared so that I don’t have to worry about my breakfast or lunch. I think that is one of my favorite features – not worrying about what I’m going to eat. Everything is already prepared!
I am really starting to notice a different in my clothing. I tried on a pair of jeans that haven’t fit me in months and guess what? They actually fit me! I was able to close the button without needing help from my whole family. No more laying on my bed while I try to get the zipper up. It felt good! I was getting discouraged (as I mentioned last week) because I didn’t lose any pounds. I didn’t know what was going but the weird part is that I look slimmer. My face looks slimmer and my tummy looks flatter. My body is doing something right – getting rid of all that fat! I have to keep reminding myself that the scale isn’t a reflection of my success. I need to go by what I feel, how my clothes fit, and my overall appearance.
I still am not going to the bathroom regularly (sorry if TMI just keeping it real!) which I think is a huge part of the scale issue. I am also anemic so I’m on Iron pills which don’t help the situation. I’ll be back to the doctor next week and hopefully my blood levels have increased so I can get off the pills and just monitor my food intake.
