Do you remember how you felt when you learned you were going to be a new mom? I was happy, scared, worried, nervous, and so many other emotions. We’re not given a manual on, “How to be a good mom”. We learn as we go. But, we do have people that can help and guide us through this crazy life we’ll have as a mom. Babies are wonderful but they also need certain things – we need to learn how to take care of them, feeding them, changing their diapers, and how to soothe them. Pediatric Associates has been my “go-to” place for all my parenting questions and needs.
I moved to Florida in June of 2007. I had just graduated from college was looking forward to my new job and finding a place to live. My fiancé stood back in New York working. My fiancé eventually came down to live with me in our new place and within a few months, I got pregnant. It was a huge surprise. I was terrified. I didn’t know what to do first. After doing tons of reading on pregnancy, I knew I had to find a good pediatrician. I asked for recommendations from my co-workers and family members. I kept hearing about Pediatric Associates so I decided to schedule an appointment. It was the best decision I made for my kids. We love our pediatrician and staff. They really made me feel at ease. Eight years later, I still take my kids to them for their check-ups and sick visits. Did I mention that they are available 24/7/365? Awesome, right?
