Fun Craft Toys for Girls

Arts and crafts have always been a hobby I enjoyed as a little girl. I still do paper crafts at least once a month with a great group of amazing ladies! It is no surprise that I try to find activities that will entertain my kids. Working outside the home five days a week means many of my nights are busy cooking, cleaning, or getting the kids ready for the next day. While I am busy cooking I like to make sure my kids are occupied. It was no surprise that I was excited when a representative from MyArtsi contacted me to do a review. Their kits are fun, entertaining, and creative exactly what my kids love. Post contains affiliate links. It just means I make a small commission if you make a purchase through any of my links. There is no additional cost for you.

What is MyArtsi?

MyArtsi has three unique kits featuring different mediums. The Stickeez kits feature different color sticky gems that can be applied to different items depending on which kit you choose. Stickeez kits have jewelry boxes, clutches, and books that come with different color/size gems. The Glitter Petz kits are adorable little figures that come with different sticky gems that can be applied to your figure. Some of the petz that they have are owls, puppies, and a pony. Each figure comes with a bookbag clip and a string to attach to any item you want! The last kit that MyArtsi has is called Plusheez. Plusheez are adorable pillows that create a 3D-like effect by popping in pieces of fabric. No sewing is required! Each Plusheez pillow comes with over 150 different color fabric pieces and a stylus for easy placement. There are different style pillows – a heart, a butterfly, and even animal shape pillows like, a monkey (no surprise that I ♥ monkeys!), cat, owl, and a fox.

Although I love monkeys, I decided to pick the butterfly to facilitate my review. I loved the butterfly-shaped pillow and knew it would be perfect for Ciara. Christian was so excited to help me create the adorable pillow for his sister. The stylus really made it easy for him to insert the small fabric pieces. He quickly learned where each piece belonged and used the stylus to insert it. You don’t have to follow the same pattern if you don’t want to but we agreed that we liked it just the way it was shown on the picture. He knew that each area that was green would need a green fabric piece. He arranged the pieces by color to easily find the one he needed. I have to say it kept him entertained for quite a bit and was concentrating on his work. He was able to do it unsupervised after the first few pieces.

Christian was so proud of his work when he completed the project. He kept saying, “Look what I made for my sister”. Such a proud big brother! I loved that it gave him the opportunity to see that he can accomplish something from start to finish. He did ask me if there was a “boy” pillow or animal but I told him that as of right now it is only for girls. If MyArtsi comes out with items for boys – he’ll love it even more! (hint, hint MyArtsi!).

MyArtsi was kind enough to provide a giveaway for one of my readers. Will you pick a Plusheez, Stickeez, or Glitter Petz? The choice is yours! Good luck! GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED.
