About Saving Santa DVD

The Anchor Bay film, Saving Santa, is already out on DVD/Blu-ray. Saving Santa is an animated tale about a little elf named Bernard, a low-ranking elf, dreams of one day joining Santa’s elite team of great inventors, the very elves who make the magic of Christmas possible! But when one of Bernard’s wacky inventions accidentally reveals the secret location of Santa’s work to an eccentric billionaire scoundrel, Santa and Christmas itself are in jeopardy. It’s up to Bernard to time-travel (again and again) to get Santa home in time for Christmas!

Directed by: Leon Joosen and Aaron Seelman

Cast
Martin Freeman – Bernard, the elf
Tim Conway – Santa
Pam Ferris – Mrs. Claus
Tim Curry – Neville Baddington
Joan Collins – Vera Baddington
Ashley Tisdale – Shiny
Noel Clarke – Snowy

My five-year-old son and I really enjoyed the movie. It is so cute and funny. Bernard is so accident-prone that you can’t help but like him! My son has watched the movie more than once and I always hear him laughing in his room. The film held his attention and I like that it was appropriate for his age. The video quality was excellent – the resolution was crisp.

The movie does come with some bonus features – Ashley Tisdale singing, “Some Kind of Miracle”, recording sessions, and a featurette called “Why Saving Santa”.
