What if you child can skip the training wheels and go straight to bike riding? They can with the help of Strider Balance Bike. The bike has no pedals so children rely on their feet to move forward. Strider Bikes helps children as young as 18 months! The bike is small enough to accommodate a child who would be learning how to ride a tricycle.
STRIDER™ balance bikes are industry-leading training bikes that help children as young as 18 months learn to ride on two wheels. STRIDER balance bikes focus on the fundamentals of balancing, leaning, and steering without the distractions and complications of pedals or training wheels.
One of the first things I noticed about the Strider Balance Bike was its weight. It is lightweight for a bicycle which makes me feel confident when my two year old uses it. My husband was able to quickly assemble the bicycles with no issues. The Strider bike has no chains so no worries about kids getting hurt. My daughter quickly mounted herself on the bike and was impressed that she got the hang of it very quickly. We adjusted the seat, which by the way is perfect for young toddlers. The seat was the perfect height for her to feel comfortable riding on it.
Both of my kids loved the bike! My 5 year old enjoyed riding it too! He has his own bicycle but enjoyed ridding around the neighborhood with his sisters Strider Balance Bike. My son is still in training wheels so I let him use it as often as he wants as it is preparing him for a two-wheeled bike. It is building his confidence!

I have heard great things about balance bikes. I wish I would have bought one for my son when he was younger.
