I cannot believe that school will be ending in less than a month, where has the time gone? Teachers do so much for our kids, I always buy little treats for my kids to bring to their teachers. Teacher appreciate week is next for my son’s school and one of the days is “Bring a special sweet treat”. I knew that SurfSweets organic candy would be the perfect treat to send to his teachers. I mixed SurfSweets organic fruity bears, jelly beans, and gummy worms in a cute little treat bag with a personalized treat labels.

organic candy

If you aren’t familiar with SurfSweets, they are made with organic sweeteners and organic fruit juice.

  • Are free of corn syrup, and use organic ingredients to reduce exposure to chemical fertilizers and pesticides – so that they’re safer for you, your family and the environment
  • Contain no artifical colors or flavors, and are free of chemical dyes that have been linked to hyperactivity disorders
  • Are allergy-friendly, as they are produced and packaged in a facility free of the 8 common allergens – which make them peanut, tree and gluten free
  • Are proudly made right here in the USA!

My daughter attends a peanut/nut free school and sometimes it it difficult finding candy for her classmates for Halloween or birthdays. I am so glad I can now easily find candy that makes me feel at ease when I bring treats to her class. SurfSweets just recently launched in Target stores across the nation!

I’m probably not the only parent that has kids who love candy. My kids love, love sweets. I try to limit the amount of sweets because they have so much bad stuff in them and I noticed it really changed my son’s behavior. Now I can feel at ease when I give them candy for special occasions and my daughter can share in the fun too! She has a peanut allergy and many times I had to give her an alternative treat. They got to try the different candies and they loved them. I sampled a few pieces myself and was quite impressed with the taste. They were yummy!

teacher appreciation labels

If you want to print the labels I created , just click on the image below. It is sized 8×10 so you can just print on standard printer paper. I passed it through a sticker make to get the adhesive backing but you can easily just use double sided tape to adhere to your treat bags. My treat bags are from Target’s dollar spot.
