Do you sometimes have difficulties getting your kids to brush their teeth? I totally understand the struggle. I find myself constantly reminding my kids to go brush their teeth. I know how important it is for them to take care of their teeth but I am always looking for ways to make it fun for them. There are some things that I do that have made a huge difference in getting my kids to brush their teeth, with a little repetitiveness they are showing a lot more interest in their oral care regimen. Some Tips:

Be sure to set up dental appointments when they are young. I took both og my kids to the dentist when they started getting their teeth in, when they turned one years old I took them to a pediatric dental office. I definitely don’t want them to be afraid of the dentist office.
Set an example. Kids see everything. If they see mommy and daddy brushing their teeth after every meal, they will want to do the same. I make sure to say, “Ok, I’m going to go brush my teeth now”. Guess what they say – “Me too!” We show them how we floss and how we use mouthwash. They always want to be involved.
