There are days I miss New York City. I miss wearing warm soft sweaters, timberland boots, and NorthFace coats. Florida barely gets a “winter”. Luckily we do get some cool days where the kids can wear long sleeves, long pants, and a sweater. There is just something about winter clothing that makes me think of the holidays. P.S. by Aeropostale has the cutest Holiday collection for Boys and Girls. I love the hoodies, t-shirts, and button down shirts for boys. They are perfect for Holiday parties and weekend fun!
My son loves hoodies. He takes one every day to school, it tends to get chilly in the classrooms. P.S. by Aeropostale has a variety of different color hoodies with different designs. My son’s favorite color is blue so I knew he would pick the first blue hoodie he saw. It’s made of the softest, fleeciest fabric, while embroidered “PS09” and “ATHL DEPT” text highlight the front for bold style. The perfect go-to hoodie for weekend play. We also grabbed a few of the t-shirts. We love anything with NY especially Brooklyn as my husband is from Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The t-shirts are very well made with a soft cotton material. I love the way they feel. My son always says they aren’t “scratchy”. We got some of the long sleeve t-shirt for cool mornings/nights.
My son picked out a woven button down shirt for a Christmas party we were attending at my family’s house. He wanted to look “just like daddy”. I loved how grown he looked! We paired it with some gray slackers that are adjustable (my son has a tiny waist). He looked so preppy and cute! We also grabbed some boxer briefs, every time we come to PS by Aeropostale he grabs a pair.
PS by Aeropostale is my son’s favorite store and loves shopping with me. I let his creative style flourish and let him choose what he wants. At 6 years old, he wants to dress himself and sometimes it is out of this world but other times I can see his sense of style shaping. I give him the independence to dress how he wants to dress. I learned early to “Pick my battles”. The clothing in PS by Aeropostale is age appropriate so I have no worries when he picks up t-shirts or jeans. By the way, the colognes for boys smell amazing! My son loves putting it on daily.
