My life without contacts wouldn’t be as easy. I know many who wear glasses can relate when I say that they sometimes get in the way. Glasses are cute for accessorizing though, I know how cute some frames look. I got my personal glasses at Target Optical® and it was HARD picking a favorite frame. The only problem is that it makes doing some task difficult – that’s when I rely on my ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses. I’m in front of the computer the majority of the day so I need contacts that provide comfort when I need them the most.
I’ve been doing projects around the house since I moved in a few months ago. The kitchen was completely gutted, the master bathroom completely re-done, and all the bedrooms painted. The only thing I had left was painting the hallway walls and closet doors. The closet doors were freshly put in but they were bare and unfinished. I’ve been putting off painting them for some time but I was motivated one day and got it done. I was so excited to get started that I started painting with my glasses.
Bad idea.
I can’t count the number of times they fell, got paint splatter, and just slipped down my nose. It was not easy but thankfully, I saved myself the torture and put on my ACUVUE® VITA® Monthly Contact Lenses. Having my ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses made my task so much easier. I was painting faster and easier. Bye, bye paint splatters all over my glasses – I can’t stop them from getting on my face, unfortunately. You can imagine my dilemma.
5 Tips to Make Painting Easier
- Clean the area you will be painting
- Tape the edges you don’t want paint to get on
- Protect the floor from paint splatters
- Prime the wall/closet door
- Allow paint to fully dry between each coat
