Yesterday, I decided to do a quick and easy Halloween wreath. The front door of my house was looking a little “plain”. I needed something to dress it up. I had one of those twig/branch wreaths I bought last year but never got around to doing anything with it so I decided to use that, plus it cost me $0 since I already had it.

My son, Christian, and I went to Michael’s Saturday night and I bought two different types of flowers.

I grabbed a bunch of the sunflower mixture but I didn’t like the way it looked since they were bigger than I wanted. The autumn leaves were perfect. The best part? They were on sale for 70% off! My kind of sale (insert big smile here). I also grabbed some medium size spiders since I wanted to add “something” Halloween-y. I probably spent less than $5 for the project and I can easily remove the spiderwebs and spiders to create an easy Thanksgiving/Fall wreath. I already had the spiderwebs on hand from a clearance sale last Halloween.

Finished product…

What do you think? Should I add more stuff or leave as is?

  1. I love how it is elegant with the flowers but still has that Halloween touch with the spiders and the webs give an amazing affect, what a great idea!
