It’s that wonderful time of year, where everyone is baking and making delicious dishes. It is no surprised that I’ve been in the baking spirit. Using Betty Crocker products I made some festive desserts for the Holidays. The best part is that there are coupons available for recipes found in the Bake Center at your local Publix stores. Find exclusive savings on essential baking mixes and ingredients from brands such as Betty Crocker, Hershey’s and Ziploc® brand containers, available at Publix.
My kids wanted me to make the Festive Mini Cookie Cups so we got to work. Using the Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie Mix, mini cupcake cups, Hershey’s Kisses and sprinkles we go to work. I followed the direction on the package and added the sprinkles to the batter, using a little spoon I scooped the sprinkle batter into the mini cupcake cups. Once they were done and cooled a little I added the Hershey’s Kisses. Such an easy and fun recipe! You can make them with different colored sprinkles to go with a theme or birthday party. You can even add a different Hershey’s Kiss.
I had leftover batter so I created an easy recipe using the same Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie mix with the sprinkles. Using a mini whoopie pie pan I added small scoops of the batter.
I wanted to create little whoopie pies but the batter was harder than the soft consistency of typical whoopie pies. I decided to just just Betty Crocker Frosting and sprinkles. They were so easy!
Aren’t they so cute? Perfect for a Holiday dessert party or to bring treats to your child’s school. Packing them in a Ziploc container for easy storage.
