Pumpkin Pie Spice season has begun. I don’t know about you, but I look forward to this time of year. There is just something about Pumpkin Spice that just warms the soul. The hints of cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg just blend perfectly to create a delicious aroma that fills our homes. I appreciate coffee, it gets me through the day but sometimes I just don’t have the time to stop at a coffee shop. My solution? An easy ready to drink iced coffee right at home. Grab a cup, some ice cubes, and pour! Sometimes I want to add a little something to my PSL – Mocha Pumpkin Pie Spice! The perfect combination.
I don’t have a lot of time in the morning to brew a cup of coffee, which is why I look for easy ways to get my PSL fix. International Delight Pumpkin Pie Spice Iced Coffee was right up my alley. Pour over ice and go! My kind of beverage. Now I can have my favorite style coffee at an affordable price. My hour commute to work just got a whole lot better. The days that I’m not at work? Well it just means I can get a little fancy with my favorite drink. I’m talking chocolatey mocha, coffee ice cream, and homemade pumpkin whipped cream. You can thank me later.
I promise, the recipe is so worth it. Trust me, it is OK to indulge in a nice glass of pumpkin spice coffee when ice cream is involved. Its creamy, chocolatey, and oh so pumpkin-y. BUT, it is not overpowering. You’ll get your hints of mocha and pumpkin. The recipe can easily be modified if you want of the pumpkin flavor. You can add a TBSP of pumpkin to the blender and a dash of pumpkin pie spice to get more of that delicious pumpkin flavor. Also, the drink is not overly sweet. It has a hint of sweetness as I chose not to add additional sugar to the frappe mix. I think the cacao gives it the sweetness it needs.

Looks delicious! I would love to try it
I typically have my coffee plain, but around the holidays I love to experiment. I’d like to try making something similar to this, as we love pumpkin year round!
