The beginning of the year brings many resolutions but many times it may be hard to follow-through if we don’t have the right tools to help us. Similar to other people, my resolution this year is to get fit and eat healthier. I plan to utilize all the available tools that I have, such as Walmart Family Mobile plans which offer Unlimited Talk Text and Data/Web making it easy for me to use apps, listen to music on the go, and schedule time to work out. Staying Fit with Walmart Mobile Phones
The LG L90 phone has everything I need to keep me on track. I’m able to use cellular service or Wifi to access my fitness apps. There are a number of different apps that I use:
- My Fitness Pal – to track what I eat. Let’s me know how much calories I consumed that day or for the week.
- FitBit – to track my activity daily
- Nike+ – to track how long and how far I exercised
- Nike+ Training – doing workouts right from your phone – you set the level, how long, and has videos!
Each of these apps has been awesome in keeping me focused on staying fit and motivated. I love that I have the ability to partner with other people and cheer them on. Many of the apps allow you to post updates to your social media pages so you can connect with others and let them know how you’re doing.
I need music when I workout. Just need it. It keeps me going while I’m huffing and puffing. The LG L90 has access to the Google Play store which allows you to easily purchase music. I have this awesome playlist for workouts that have upbeat music that makes me want to go, go, go! The phone also allows you to transfer any music files to your phone if you have songs you want to listen to.
Since I carry my phone everywhere, I rely on the calendar a lot. It is important for my fitness and healthy eating goals. I like to add reminders for bills, gym classes like Zumba, and the kid’s activities. The calendar tends to get busy but it helps me know what I have to do so I can schedule that Strength training class or cardio. Sometimes you need to switch things up to stay motivated. I get bored easily if I’m doing the same thing over and over. I’m sure you can relate!
