I love this time of year because of the desserts! The sweet chocolate, peppermint candy canes, and egg nog! My family loves anything brownie so I decided to try making candy cane brownies by using Baker’s Secret colored metal bakeware. The pans make it easy to bake and show off your delicious desserts. No need to move to another pan!

I wanted a quick recipe that can be made easily when I need to bring a dish for a potluck or family gathering. I used a brownie box mix to shorten my cooking time. The recipe is simple crushed candy cane, box of brownie mix, the ingredients for needed for the brownie mix, Pam spray, and your Baker’s Secret pan.
The candy canes melt and give it a marble-like look to the candy cane. I sprayed the pan with a lot of Pam to make it a little easier to remove from the pan. I didn’t have any issues taking it out. I went around the pan with a spatula and flipped it over – Viola! It is a little tricky cutting it as it is a hard coating. Use a very sharp knife to make your cuts. The combination of sweet and mint is delicious! Soft chewy texture of the brownie and a crunchy candy layer of the melted candy canes = deliciousness!
